Max Fraisier-Roux invites you to a ballet souvenir with a fan
tribute to
very cult french composer
Henry Torgue. Often labeled as space-age
music, Torgue's solo work - or with long time colleague
Serge Houppin -
revisits a minimalistic atmospheric lyricism with synthesizer sounds
mainly used as violons in orchestra or with piano, combined with
electronic percussions, voices, urban and natural recordings also. Most
of the duo's works were made for famous choreographer
Jean-Claude Gallotta or director
Philippe Genty for instance, placing two men as
underground very influencing composers for performing arts world in
France nowadays, due to some kind of typical french romanticism and
freedom.
